Hearing Conservation for Performing Artists Guidance: a Consultation |
INTRODUCTION
BAPAM (British Association for Performing Arts Medicine) provides clinical care for performers and education about healthy performance practice.
Together with hearing health professionals, and at the request of the Healthy Conservatoires Network, we have developed guidance to support hearing conservation for performing artists. The guidance is initially designed to be used by institutions teaching performing artists and their staff. We are also interested in hearing from other organisations in the performing arts industry to understand what elements would need to be amended to fit their circumstances.
We would be very grateful for your views on the consultation document prior to final publication by completing the following questionnaire by the end of February 2020. Your responses are anonymous, unless you choose to give your details and will only be used by BAPAM to evaluate and improve this document.
BAPAM is a registered charity. Details of how you can become more involved in our work are provided at the end of the survey, along with contact details for further advice including free clinical appointments.
