Casual League 2021/22
Hello!
Over the past few years parts of the Casual League has become a little less... well... casual. It's now 3 divisions and some new (more competitive) teams have joined and other teams (with more than one team in the league) have moved to 2 or 3 teams aimed at different competitive levels of football.
So we had an EGM and it was unanimously agreed that we'd put out options to see what folk would like to do. Please tell us by answering the questions below. We will look at it in the Cowgirls Committee and do our absolute best to come up with teams that work. Note: NOTHING is guaranteed. If we get a lot of folk for one division and not the other, we may ask if anyone fancies moving - if nobody does, we'll rethink. If we only get a couple of folk for one division, we'll likely go back to the tried and tested random team allocation with a wee bit of oversight (thanks Bridie for the programme!).
Mooocho cow love to you all. Oh, and please answer the questions by Tuesday, 10th August. We have to have this sorted by the 31st August or else nobody will be playing at all - Casual League deadline.
Thanks!!!
PS: please speak to someone at training (who seems to know stuff) about the Casual League if you are new. We ask that you have been coming to training for about 3 months or so before signing up, although we appreciate what with Covid and all that may be difficult. If you are not sure yet, don't worry - chances are we will need back-up for drop outs through the season, so you will likely be able to play later.
