Nominate Someone Special to take a Seat in our Brand New Auditorium
We’re opening up the opportunity to dedicate the first six seats in our brand-new auditorium. Shine a light on your local heroes and we will name a seat in our new theatre recognising them and their part in our heritage for years to come.
Next month will see us launch our This Seat Counts campaign, inviting everyone to name a seat in our brand new auditorium contributing to our major building transformation.
Ahead of the public launch of our campaign, we are offering an EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY for six seats to be named after local heroes in our community who deserve to have an achievement, memory or experience rewarded and commemorated in our brand new theatre. Whether an individual, group or business, each winner will receive a dedicated seat plaque with an engraved personalised message on a seat in the new auditorium. All winners and/or their families will be invited in Autumn 2020 for a seat naming ceremony to see their plaques unveiled and be photographed sitting in their named seats.
Whether you wish to note a local dance hero, arts teacher, celebrate a son or daughter’s first-steps on the stage, or say thank you to those who have worked tirelessly to help others in the community or even celebrate a Cornish historical figure who has shaped performance in Cornwall over the centuries – nominate someone below and create a unique moment to put them in the spotlight.
All nominations to be received by Friday 8 November, 5pm. The nominations will be considered by a panel of judges including our own Chief Executive and Creative Director Julien Boast, esteemed theatre entrepreneur and Co-Chair of HFC Trustees Dame Rosemary Squire, BBC Radio Cornwall host and former Hall For Cornwall Box Office Manager Debbie McCory and Cornwall Council Leader Julian German.
